Pam-did not know you well but we have known Rusty for over 36 years - always the same no matter what -never knew when or where you would run into him but he always had That Smile on his face - enjoyed watching him play softball 1st then loved watching him play volleyball - such a competitor but loved teaching new players the game! Rusty had such a strong sense of family as well. We saw a change in him when you and he got married. He loved you and your kids especially being "Pa"! We cannot begin to understand what you're going through now but offer our love and support. Cherish all of your wonderful memories - we will do the same! Hugs and Prayers!

I am so sorry to hear of Rusty's passing. There is no one for whom I have more respect than Rusty. And I can think of no one who had a more positive influence on my life. Though I haven't seen him for years, I often think about him; always fondly. I was always in awe of his and his brothers' natural and seemingly effortless athleticism; their kindness and fun-loving attitudes. The world is missing a good person, but we're so fortunate to have had him here. I will never forget him.
Prayers and thoughts to all of Rusty's family and friends.
Sincerely, Tim and Kathy Davidson, Columbus, IN

So sorry to hear about Rusty passing. We worked to gather at Ben Davis high school both on a project and as a school administrator while he coached. He always had a smile on his face and something nice to say. He came over to our house on several occasions and helped or taught me how to finish drywall. He will be missed. RIP Rusty

Dear Pam and Family of Rusty Sanders,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Rusty was an amazing athlete and very competitive. For several years he would donate his time and knowledge to help me coach the the Jennings County High School Volleyball Team. His contributions helped us enjoy many memories of successful championships.
