William Michael ‘Mike’ Mager

Mr. William Michael ‘Mike’ Mager, Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 6, 2019. He was 72. Mike was born September 29, 1947 in Brazil, Indiana, a son of the late William and Betty (Pittman) Mager.

Mike attended Emmerich Manual High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1965. Mike also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a lifelong employee and eventual owner of M&B Carpet and enjoy hunting and being outdoors. Mike was a kind and soft-spoken man who would do anything for anybody. He was a wonderful neighbor and a great friend to many.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Sheila M. (Koopman) Mager; his son, Derek M. (Cheryl) Mager; his daughter, Devon Mager (George Sparks); his grandson, Brendon Asher; his brothers Guy (Faye) Mager, Kim (Jan) Mager, Mark Mager and John Mager as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mike was preceded in passing by his parents. 

In honoring Mike’s wishes, he has been cremated with no formal services planned. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center is honored to care for the family of Mr. Mike Mager.
