Terry Howard, born November 4th, 1959, age 61, of Indianapolis passed away on October 29th, 2021. Terry will be remembered as a loving and caring person to his family, his church family that he pastored, and hundreds of friends. All will miss him dearly. He had a very witty, friendly and outgoing personality. He never met a stranger and throughout his adult life he gave so much to those in need including groceries, and many other things. He would give cars, tools and just about everything else just to help someone out. He would visit and feed the homeless, and pray for and comfort them as well. Terry was in the used car business for most of his life and owned his own dealership for many years on the west side of Indianapolis, with his current dealership being Automobiles For Less. He also pastored Beulah Worship Center on Warman Ave, where he loved to masterfully play his big Hammond organ as he sang God's praises. He adored southern gospel music and would often host gospel concerts. He was extremely hospitable to everyone that would visit. He frequented fine dining restaurants and sporting events in downtown Indianapolis. He was known for always driving around in a new Corvette. He is survived by his mother Helen, his sons Joshua (Ashley), Jonathan (Amanda) and Terry Jr. (Ana Paula), his daughters Jessica and Tina (Tyler), 13 grandchildren, his brothers Bill (Jill), Gary (Shirley) and Jack (Judy). He had numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his fur babies whom he loved dearly, Snoopy, Grace, Molly and his grand-dog Gringo. He was preceded in death by his father Jack and his brother Joe.
Funeral Service for Terry will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 S. Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis.
Visitation will be held Monday (11/08) from 4-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
