Romona “Mickey” Rhea Heaton, 79, passed away August 7, 2020. She was born May 3, 1941, in Jeffersonville, IN to Harold and Area O’Brien. Romona was married to the late William E. Heaton. She was a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and taught second grade at Saint Augustine School in Jeffersonville, IN and Holy Name School in Beech Grove, IN. In her latter years she was a resident at Saint Paul Hermitage in Beech Grove, IN.

Mickey is survived by her niece Ann Miller of Indianapolis; nephew Scott Miller of Noblesville; great niece Samantha Miller of Noblesville; four sisters Nona O’Brien of Indianapolis, Darlene Rose of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Wortham of Jasper, IN and Pat Langston of Versailles, KY; and brother Calvin Reuter of Charlestown, IN.
