Rita A. (Roberts) Cloud

Rita A. Cloud, 75, Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019. She was born May 31, 1944 in Indianapolis, to the late Arthur and Anna Schwab Roberts. Rita was married to the late Robert Cloud on December 24, 1976, in Indianapolis.

Rita was employed at Manpower for several years. Previously she worked in the cafeteria at Rosa Parks Elementary School. Rita had a deep love for children. She was an active member of Indy Southside Nazarene, where she worked with children.

Rita is survived by daughters Patty Brown McManus (Charles), Donna Brown Ferguson (Aaron), Lisa Muse (Dennis) and Diane Workman; brothers James, Ed, Art Jr., and Reggie Roberts; sisters Merle Stark, Sheila McCreary, Donna Morris, Mary Litel, Debbie Mitchell and Frances Franklin; grandchildren Candace, Tyler, Owen, Anna and many more; great grandchildren Christian, Piper and many more and several great great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her husband, parents and children Dougie Cloud, Dorothy Ann Faulkner and Bobby Cloud, Jr.

Services for Rita will be 12:00 pm, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Calling be Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial gifts be given to Indy Southside Nazarene.
