Richard Edward "Dickey" Dellinger

Richard Edward "Dickey" Dellinger, 66, of Indianapolis passed away February 25, 2021. He was born on July 29, 1954 in Indianapolis to the late Joseph and Margaret Holland Dellinger. Dickey was married to Carrie E. Dellinger. He was a self employed deliveryman for many years, his sense of direction and being a "human GPS" served him well at this occupation. Dickey loved to fish, hunt and spend time outdoors with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching the Colts and and NASCAR.

Dickey is survived by his wife Carrie E. Finch Dellinger; son Matthew Dellinger; sister Mickey McElfresh (Jim); and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his parents.

Services for Dickey will be Saturday, February 27, at 6:00 p.m. at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 S, Lynhurst Drive. The family will receive friends form 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the mortuary.
