Richard Cliffton Decker

Richard Cliffton Decker went Home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 6, 2020.

Rick was born September 30, 1953 in Indianapolis to Albert and Emma Decker.

Rick retired from CSX Railroad. He has been faithfully serving God since 1987. He was the Pastor of Healing Center Ministries from 2008 to 2018. His evangelistic ministry, TrustJesusHeCares.org continues to share the Gospel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his son, Richard Decker II and his wife Sharla; daughter, Michelle Holt and her husband Jeremy; his grandchildren, Brittany, Richard, Austin, Connor and Joshua; a great-granddaughter, Adilynn; a brother, Albert Decker; his sisters, Rebecca Merriman, Cindy Whitaker, Janna Ottinger and Arlene Nicodemus. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Steve and Neal Decker.

Rick will be dearly missed by many. It was his life’s mission to share the Gospel, because it was his greatest desire that we all be together again in Heaven.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 S. Lynhurst Dr., Indianapolis.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Mortuary with Pastor Paul Slagle officiating. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
