Regina Wetzel Obituary

Regina C. Wetzel, 42, of Camby passed away April 7th, 2023, at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. She was born September 14th, 1980, to Johnnie Wetzel and Norma (Gibson) Wetzel.

Regina is survived by her fiancé Chris McLain, her loving children; Chelsie Elizabeth Madden (Steven), Chad Lee Alan Madden, Dominique Frederick Austin Madden, Brayden Michael Madden, and Angelenna Elizabeth Jane Madden. She is also survived her mother Norma Wetzel (Roland), and grandchildren; Kaelynn  Dussia, Madelyn Dussia, Aubrey McLain, Gracie Mae Madden, Evelyn Rose Madden and Violet Elizabeth Smith, and siblings Jimmy Wetzel (Jamie), Billie Wetzel, and Jade Wetzel. In addition are her five nieces, three nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Regina was preceded in passing by her father Johnnie Wetzel, brother Johnny Wetzel, and two nephews.

Regina was the light in every room. She was the person that no matter the distance made an impact to people all across the world. She loved her family and friends with all that she had. To know her, was to see genuine happiness. She loved traveling in the truck with Chris (fiancé and love of her life). Together they visited 49 states, and she was looking forward to Hawaii. She loved her children (including Stinker) and making them proud was one of her biggest goals. She was also a devoted daughter and loved her mom dearly. She insisted on being home to be by her mother’s side when she needed her most.
Regina never failed to tell people how much she appreciated any kindness that was shown to her. She appreciated even the littlest of things. She knew what true beauty in this world really was. She didn’t take anything for granted. Regina wanted to save the world one person at a time.
