Phillip Eugene Hewitt Sr. of Indianapolis passed away October 30, 2020 at I.U. Hospital West. He was 59. He was born February 2,1961 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late John and Myrtle(Burnside) Hewitt. He was previously employed as a truck driver who also enjoyed traveling. He was known to spend the whole night doing karaoke in the garage. Phillip was also known for his sense of humor and ability to tell a good joke, but most of all he was a dedicated family man. He adored his children and grandchildren and always looked forward to spending time with them and always enjoyed a family get together.

Phillip is survived by his children Phillip Hewitt Jr.,(Amanda),Gena Jackson (Joey), and Nick Hewitt (Vanessa Scott); ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and 12 brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life Service for Phillip is pending. Arrangements by Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
