Paul E Kauffman

Paul E. Kauffman of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the age of 86.

He was born on May 19,1935, to the late Benjamin L. and Helen F. Kauffman.  

Paul was a 1953 graduate of Southport High School. He retired from AT&T and was a member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church where he was active in the Pastors’ Bible Study and enjoyed maintaining the church landscaping.  He enjoyed much time being outdoors appreciating God’s creation whether that was working in his yard, hunting, fishing, gardening, boating or playing a round of golf.  

He was the loving husband of Nina F. Kauffman for 66 years and father to Matthew (Deborah) Kauffman and Douglas (Mary) Kauffman; five grandchildren, Katy Kauffman Howe, Elizabeth Ledford, Krystine Kauffman, Michelle Martin and Kathleen Kauffman; and seven great-grandchildren, Isaac, Hannah, Eliza and Audrey Howe and Caroline, Charlie and Cora Ledford.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Benny and Carl.  

A private graveside service for immediate family only will be held this weekend.  

A public memorial service is being planned for a later date.
