Mark LeTourneau Obituary

Mr. Mark Alan LeTourneau, of Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Monday, January 20, 2020 after a long illness. He was 62. Mark was born November 23, 1957 in Indianapolis, a son of Ralph E. and Evelyn (Masuccio) LeTourneau.

Mark was a graduate of Beech Grove High School and afterwards proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Mark attended Parcway Assembly of God (now LifeWay Church). He had been employed for the past five years as a Deputy Sheriff serving with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and had previously worked as a truck driver with Whiteford, Werner, Crete and Swift Trucking Companies. He had also, along with his brother, owned and operated Mark & Ralph’s Painting Company in the 1980’s.

Mark was an avid collector of knives, swords and unicorn music boxes and also enjoyed photography. He was also an outdoorsman, spending his leisure time raising a flower garden, fishing, camping and hiking. He dearly loved his family and the time he could spend with them.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Peggy M. (Kaufman) LeTourneau; his mother, Evelyn LeTourneau; his sons, Ricky (Angela) Deacon and David VanScyoc; his grandchildren, Zachary Deacon (Francis Blalock) and Zoie Deacon; a sister-in-law, Karen LeTourneau and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in passing by his brother, Ralph LeTourneau.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
