Marilyn Miles Obituary

Marilyn Michelle Miles, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 20, 2020. She was 49. She was born March 16, 1970 in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late John G. and Linda L. (Manley) Miles.

Marilyn attended Decatur Central High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1989. She had been employed as a dispatcher for Cook’s Towing and prior to that at Yellow Cab, both in Indianapolis.

Marilyn loved watching movies and cooking. She dearly loved her family and cherished the time she could spend with them. She also adored her dogs and taking care of them.

Marilyn is survived by her brothers, Chuck (Kara) Bell, Brian (fiancé Bonnie Barker) Bell, and Norman (special friend Joan Thompson); her boyfriend, Louis Jordan as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by an infant brother, Michael Miles.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis with burial following at West Newton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the mortuary.
