Linda Lou (Thompson) Elmore

Linda Lou (Thompson) Elmore of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away at her residence on August 11, 2021 at the age of 74.She was born June 5, 1947 in Westerville, Ohio to the late Herbert and Mary Jane (Mann) Thompson.Linda retired in 2020 after 35 years as a Lab Tec for Flo-tech. She loved her husband Sam and family very much and enjoyed playing card games, and listening to country music.She was very fond of her service dog "Brownie".

Survivors include her children; Susie (Steve) Cole, Bob (Dawn) Elmore, Kathaleena "Kitty" Kaufman, John Elmore, Kelly (Colleen) Farris, Amy (Scott) Elmore, Samatha (Shannon) Elmore, 27 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband Sam Elmore, son, Samuel Kyle Elmore, brother Mike Thompson, and granddaughter Madison.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 15, 2021 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and service will be at the mortuary on Monday August 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior and Pastor Roger Williams officiating.  Burial will follow at Clayton Cemetery.
