Kenneth Lee Tuttle

 Kenneth Tuttle, age 85, passed away on December 30th, 2022.  He was born in 1937 in Newton, Iowa to Eldon and Iona Offenhauser Tuttle.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Miriam Sickmeier, his two children, Joseph and Janelle, and eight grandchildren.  Ken attended IUPUI and had been employed by the Allison Gas Turbine Division of General Motors for 35 years as a Customer Service Manager.  Following his retirement in 1992, he was self-employed as a freelance Technical Writer and later employed by Bartech, Inc. as an Integrated Logistic Support Manager.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Indiana Air National Guard.  He was a Certified Professional Logistician with the Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) and held an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics license.  He played trumpet with several bands and orchestras, enjoyed singing in church choirs, and encouraged his children to learn music as well. He had been a resident of Greenwood since March 1973 and was a member of Southport Presbyterian Church.  Pastor Glenn Massey will conduct a memorial service at the church (7525 McFarland Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46237) at 11 AM Saturday, March 18th with visitation at 10 AM.  As he partnered with his wife to teach his children to look to Jesus as their Savior and Lord, he also wished that any contributions be made in his memory to the Southport Presbyterian Church Christian Education Fund in support of teaching the next generation.
