Katherine Maude "Kathy" (Downs) Anderson, 68
passed away on September 21, 2020 at IU Health West Avon.
Kathy was born on September 5, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ralph F. and Gertrude J.(Tyler)Downs.
Kathy was a retired Deli Manager for Marsh Super Markets for 20 years. In her leisure time she loved boating at Dale Hollow in Kentucky with family and friends. Kathy loved going to different Mexican restaurants.
A avid Colts fan and loved to cook and clean and spend time with her grandchildren and adored her newest great-granddaughter: Brooklynn Marie Barnes.
Survivors: Loving daughter; Jennifer W. Anderson; grandsons Corbin (Kendra) Barnes, Cael Barnes; step-daughter Audrey (Ron) Brierly; grandaughters Tinley, Maclynn and Shyla; step-son: Ron Anderson Jr.; step-grandson Miles Anderson; siblings John Downs, Ralph Downs, Sharon Childers, Jackie Locke; several nieces and nephews; best friends Brenda McClung and Lynn Otter
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until service at 7:30 p.m.at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Reverend David Clayton, officiating.
Due to COVID-19 mask are required and Social Distancing is recommended.
