James "Jim" Donald Stutsman, 81
passed away at his residence on September 15, 2020 He was born on February 10, 1939 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Charles W. and Ruth Ann(Cassidy)Stutsman.
James was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, West Indy.
Jim was an avid antique buff, a trade he learned from his parents. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and camping, Jim and Shirley spent several years camping at camp grounds near Putnamville, Indiana.
Jim and Shirley lived in Ellenton, Florida, for 15 years where they enjoyed spending time on the beach and going to flea markets. In 2013 they moved back to Indiana so they could be near their family.
Survivors include his loving wife: Shirley Louise(McDaniel)Stutsman; children: James "Zac"( Roena)Stutsman, Ellen Annette(Frank)Hamilton, Cheryl R.(Mark)Anderson, Karen D.(Garrett Mikesell)Vaughn, Brent A.(Elizabeth)Vaughn;
13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sibling: Sharon(James)Jeffries; several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Betty Kolb, Sandra Chandley,, Charlie Stutsman Jr., and step-daughter: Regina K. Cullop.and his loving dogs, "Lucy" and "Coco".
A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Liberty Baptist Church, 10450 East County Road 450 North, Indianapolis, IN 46234
from 12:00 p.m. until service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Messer, officiating. James cremated remains will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, Evansville, Indiana.
Due to COVID-19 masks are required and Social Distancing is recommended.
