On Sunday, November 29, 2020, James Harmon, husband and father of one child, passed away at age 53.
Jimmy was born on January 11, 1967 in Phoenix, AZ to James Harmon and Linda Mcdougall. After moving to Indiana at the age of two, Jimmy grew up, completed schooling and spent 35 years as a fleet mechanic. Jimmy married his high school sweetheart, Melody Harmon, on November 30, 1985. Together they raised one strong-willed daughter, Madison.
Jimmy had a passion for his friends and family. He was always willing to do whatever it took to make them happy. Whether it was car problems, something around the house, or something around the neighborhood, Jimmy was always there to help. In addition to helping others, Jimmy also loved to grill and spend quality time with his family. He was known for his servant’s heart and his love for coffee.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James, and his mother, Linda. He is survived by his wife Melody and his daughter, Madison. Because of various Covid-19 restrictions, the family has chosen to have a celebration of life at a later date in place of a funeral service.
Arrangements entrusted to Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
