Harold Colwell

Harold Colwell was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 25, 1960 and passed away February 13, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He moved to Indianapolis and married Dolores Kidd, they raised their daughter Melinda Aughenbaugh in a home that Harold built. Harold was  a loving and hard working father. Harold was so much more than his struggles. He was an Indiana Army National Guard Veteran, a father, brother, uncle, and grandpa. Harold was a skilled tradesman having worked at Circle City Heat Treating, LinkBelt, Star Trucking, and Kidd Construction. 
 He never knew a stranger and always enjoyed a good laugh. Anyone that truly knew Harold, knew he had such a big heart. He loved many and we take comfort in knowing that Harold is now at peace.
Preceding him in death were his parents Adam and Mary Colwell and  nephew Adam Taylor.
Surviving family includes; Daughter Melinda Augenbaugh (Ryan Fitzpatrick) of Linton, grandsons Nathan and Devin Augenbaugh of Linton, Logan Fitzpatrick of Linton, sister Connie Taylor of Indianapolis, Brother-in-laws Guy Kidd of Indianapolis, Eliza (Brenda Kidd) of Indianapolis; Sister-in-law, Reba Parsons, nephews Andy Taylor of Indianapolis, Jason Kidd of Indianapolis, Joey Kidd of Elizabethtown, nieces Christina Truxal (Mark) of Crawfordsville, Catrina Tomamichel (Steve) of Crawfordsville and a many great nieces and nephews.  
Visitation will be held at Singleton Community Mortuary And Memorial Center, 1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
