Faith Rachel Clarkston

Faith Rachel Clarkston, 13 years old, of Gosport, IN. went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her home away from home, the family farm, surrounded by her loving family and wrapped in the arms of her Daddy.. She had battled a brain tumor for several years and finally won her fight. 

Faith was born July 26, 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of Kevin Curtis (KC) and Natalie Kay (Hughes) Clarkston.

Faith loved school and learning and was an eel student at Eminence Elementary where she was in the 6th grade. She was anything but a typical teenage girl, she was a special little miracle sent straight from heaven above. She absolutely loved her TikTok, playing with her Barbie dolls, swimming, taking walks, gardening and drinking her favorite Drinks, Pepsi, and Mimis sweet tea. Faith was a very happy young lady who loved to laugh and always had the biggest smile on her face, and the heavenly star twinkle in her eyes. She absolutely loved life and everything in it. She enjoyed music and would sing along and dance to any beat.

She loved spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly, and always looked forward to spending a majority of that free time at the family farm with her Mimi, and best friend Nanny. She especially enjoyed taking rides with her Dad on his Harley, or "her" Harley as she would say, and having her Mommy read to her. She adored her siblings and spending time hanging out, laughing, and having a wonderful time with them. She also loved her dogs, Mini, Roscoe and Katie and caring for them. She was an exceptional young lady who had an abundance of love for everyone. She was a source of encouragement to others through her time of trial and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Faith attended the Church of God Gospel Assembly of Indianapolis.

Faith is survived by her parents, Kevin (KC) and Natalie Clarkston; her brothers and sisters, Logan Hughes(20), Kavin Clarkston(8); Savanna Lawrence(18), Caroline Clarkston(16), Baby Kasey Clarkston(14); her paternal grandparents, Harold (Skip) and Susan Aldridge; her maternal grandparents, Bill and Rhonda Grogg; her paternal great-grandmother, Margaret (Nanny) Clarkston; her maternal great-grandparents, Jerry and Judy Donoho as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in passing by her maternal grandfather, Wendil Hughes; her Granny, Tammy Wright; her paternal great-grandfather, Curtis Albert Clarkston, her Pappy and Essie May Hughes, Leslie and Virginia Berkman, and her dog, Mini.

Funeral services for Faith will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Waverly United Methodist Church, 8525 Main Street, Martinsville, Indiana with Pastor Bill Van Horn and Pastor Rodney Hughes officiating. Burial following at IOOF Cemetery in Waverly, next to her Grandpa Curt.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021 at the church and from 11:00 am until the time of service Saturday also at the church.

The family has asked that anyone who can, please wear pink the day of the service, and also if you have a motorcycle, please consider riding it in the procession from the church to the cemetery.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, you may offer those to the family through the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses for Faith.
