Dwayne Cox

Dwayne Cox of Indianapolis passed away on the morning of November 3, 2020 at University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was 59. He was born July 11, 1961 in Kentucky to Robert and Libby (Brummett) Cox.  He was employed as a dump truck driver for 41 years. Driving his " Easy Go" Golf Cart became a true passion for Dwayne. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, was the life of the party and enjoyed watching western movies. He was known to ask those around him to "pull my finger" which led to a certain outcome. He also enjoyed karaoke and spending time on the "Easy Go" at Indian Oaks in Cloverdale. 

Dwayne is survived by his beloved wife Rhonda Kay Cox; children Joshua Cox, Heather Agulia, Kriston Hernandez, Kaylee Cox; mother Libby Cox; siblings Mike Cox (Tonya), Jeffery Cox, Kenny Cox (Laura), Alan Cox and Janice Cox; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; best friends Ronnie Bratcher and Carrie & Dickie Dellinger, and his beloved "Kaja". Dwayne was preceded in passing by his father Robert Cox and his brother Bruce Cox.

Service for Dwayne will be 7:00p.m., Friday, November 6, 2020, at Singleton Community and Memorial Center,1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana  with calling from 4:00p.m. until the hour of service. Online condolences maybe offered to the family by visiting www.singletonmortuary.com
