David Lee Jarvis, 81, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 28, 2021. He was born September 10, 1939 in Kennard, Indiana to the late Raymond and Mary (Hendricks) Jarvis. David was married to Judith L. Jarvis. He worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation in highway maintenance for ten years, retiring in 2008. David was a member of Life 180 Church Assembly of God and a proud U.S. Army Veteran.
David is survived by his wife Judith L. Jarvis; children Kim Nash (Dennis) and David Jarvis (Tanya); siblings Gene Jarvis, Terry Jarvis, Jack Jarvis (Becky) and Marilyn Fisher; grandchildren Allison Nash, Kenzie Nash, and Chris Isenburg; great grandchildren Tyler Strong, Lucy Bailey and Ivy Skinner-Bailey. He is preceded in passing by his parents and brothers Bill Jarvis and Mike Jarvis.
Services for David will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Life 180 Church-Assembly of God, 3744 S. Lynhurst Dr. Indianapolis, Indiana 46241. Calling will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, at the church. Interment with military honors will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center is handling the arrangements. It is suggested that memorial gifts may be extended to the family.
