Daniel Jay Martin, 59 of Jonesville passed away September 10, 2021 in Indianapolis. He was born August 23, 1962 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Ernest Martin and Mary Spears. Daniel was born with a heart of gold and loved animals. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and spending time on Lake Monroe.  In his free time he loved to cook or spend time doing arts and crafts.  He was also an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University sports. He was a member of the Columbus Church of the Nazarene. He had been employed as a customer service representative with Circle K.

Daniel is survived by his daughter Laura Martin (Joseph Baker); siblings Laura Burbrink (Justin) and Darrell Martin (Laurie); grandchildren Damian, Veronica, and Carson; several nieces and nephews. Daniel is also survived by his best friend Kari Weber. Daniel was preceded in passing by his parents, sister Linda Olmstead; step mother Doris Martin and best friend Rhonda Richards.

Funeral Service for Daniel will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Visitation will be Friday (9-17) from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  Arrangements by Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
