Charles H. Landrigan

Charles H. Landrigan, 86, of Greenwood passed away on the afternoon of January 11, 2020. He was born on May 25, 1933 to the late Charles and Emma Mattingly Landrigan.  Charles married Bonnie Alice (Snow) Landrigan on January 10, 1953. Charles was the owner of the well respected automotive repair shop, Landrigan’s Service from 1959 to 1995. Charles was the past president of the Southside Kiwanis. He held memberships in the Greenwood American Legion Post 252, Madison Avenue Business Men’s Association and was active in various charities including the Fish Rodeo.

Charles was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 65 years Bonnie. He is survived by his daughters Cathy (Steve) Nippert, and Kim (Kenny) Gerber; 5 grandchildren Bill Lowe, Andy Lowe, Ashley Gerber, Dusty Gerber, and Amber Gerber Everly; great grandchildren Annelise and Beckett Everly. In addition to his parents he is preceded in passing by his daughter Linda Sue and son-in-law Kenny Fisher.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 South Lynhurst Drive. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the mortuary. Entombment with military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
