Bobby J. “Bob” McGraw, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away at Rosegate Healthcare on Friday, November 27, 2020. He was born on November 13, 1927, in Indianapolis, to the late William and Lelah Foster McGraw. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in W.W. II. On May 22, 1987, was married to the late Laura McGraw. Bob was employed as a Manager in Human Resources at Indianapolis Power & Light, for 42 years. He was a member of Lynhurst Masonic Lodge #723, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, and Speedway American Legion Post 500.
Bob is survived by his children Barbara Keller, Michelle Shireman (Gary) and Patrick McGraw (Suzanne); stepchildren Cheryl Meares (Joe), Jodi Merryman (Scotty), Rick Hootman (Stephanie) and Lauri Garl; grandchildren Matthew McGraw, Merrick McGraw, Conor McGraw, Caulin McGraw, Martha Cloe, Daniel Keller, Eric Shireman, Erin Shireman and seven step-grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by his parents, wife, sister Dorothy, bothers Bill and Max McGraw, grandson Scott Spencer, and son-in-law Bob Keller.
Services for Bob will be Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 S. Lynhurst Drive. Calling will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Interment, with military honors, will follow at West Newton Cemetery.
