Ben Pearson Obituary

Ben Albert Pearson, 75 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on October 22, 2020 at Franciscan Health Hospital. Ben was born on January 1, 1945 in Bloomfield, Indiana to the late John Marshall and Hattie Ellen (Williams) Pearson. He was a retired brick mason, and enjoy his leisure time playing cards, bingo and games, but his real love was cutting a rug. Ben was married on August 31, 1961 to Kaaren Darlene (Malicoat) Pearson.

Survivors: Loving children: Anthony and Robert Pearson, Lisa Stanley and Benny Pearson: brother: Wayne Pearson and sister: Linda Collier; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ben was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Henry, Verlin, George and Jack Pearson; seven sisters: Lillian Ellett, Louise Hardesty, Betty Mathena, Ellen Hudson, Carrie Pearson, Jewie Auberry and Melvina Whaley.

Service for Ben will be 2:00p.m., Friday, October 30, 2020 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana with calling from Noon until the hour of service. Pastor Jeanine Burge, officiating. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis. Due to COVID-19 mask and social distancing are required.
