Anthony Sawyer Obituary

Anthony “Tony” Sawyer, 53, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 16, 2021. He was born July 25, 1977, in Indianapolis to Allen L. Sawyer, Sr. and Debbie S. Sawyer.

Tony enjoyed music and working. He worked as a carpenter for several years with PCI Construction Company. Tony was known as “The Mayor” because he knew everyone.

Tony is survived by his parents; children Anthony Sawyer, Ashlyn Sawyer, Kaden Sawyer and Kylye Sawyer; grandson Jack Sawyer; and brother Allen Sawyer Jr.

Services for Tony will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral home and Cremation Service, 504 National Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center will be assisting in the arrangements.
