I'm saddened to hear that you have passed away.  My brother Alex sent me a text yesterday to let me know.  I learned late about your health issues.  Our lives get so busy.

I've been thinking about our friendship and stories start to flood back to memory.  Your father David Liggett and yourself influenced me to join the Manual Redskins football team in High School.  I served as the manager making sure the players had all the gear they needed for each game.  It was a good experience for me.

I also remember when the Liggett house on Cottage Avenue was burglarized.  My brother Charles and I spent the night with you at the Cottage house and all three of us waited for the burglars to return.  We each had Louisville Sluggers at hand.

I also remember in the 1990s when I was living in Salt Lake City you came out to visit me and you were wearing a long leather jacket, I wasn't home, but my LDS roommate told me "there's a mafia looking guy asking questions about you and where you are at?"  I thought that was funny.  I guess Harry does have a James Gandolfini look from time to time.

It's been great being your friend and growing up together. I appreciated all of the trips with your family, the sporting events, Church events, etc.  You had a love for life, for learning, for sports, for God and for people in general.  I'm sure there's a nice open space in the spirit world and you and your father are probably coaching some type of sports team there.

Heaven has plenty of space for good people like the Liggett's.  God bless you brother!

Hairball, my childhood neighbor, church family, school chum, FOP co-worker, adult friend and surrogate brother.  I can’t remember a time in which our paths didn’t cross.  It won’t be the same without you and your awesome sense of humor.  Enjoy that joyous reunion with your Dad and Mom and all your other loved ones.  The Fishburn’s will never forget you, kiss Mama for me...
