I remember Mrs. Adams from her work at Central Library when I worked there during high school.  She was always a very nice, helpful and gracious lady.  I offer my most sincere condolences.

I wish to express my sincerest sympathy at the passing of Harriett. She was a lovely lady and a real delight to serve. I am privileged to have been one of her physicians for many years. God bless her remaining family.

Harriett was a fine lady.  She was my assistant for several years in the Business, Science and Tech division of Central Library.  She showed me the ropes, and I missed her greatly when she retired.  Go well, friend.

Once when my daughters (now age 51 and 50) were kids they went to one of Harriet's story hours and came home with a jar of bugs Harriet had collected in her dewy yard that morning. Since I was working in cataloging, I asked why she gave out jars of bugs. Turned out my kids had stolen that jar she'd got up early to fill. They loved her story-telling skill.
