Dear Steve, Gretchen and John,
Please accept my sympathies on the blessed passing of your mother Macile. I have an excellent idea what these last few years have been like for you as I think over the past years of my mother's life---Anna May Withered. Anna thankfully passed March 4 of last year.
Certainly these fine women did not deserve to suffer as they did the past few years of their lives---but as we know we do not make these decisions. Non the less~~ we have learned from the experience.
I choose to remember them both in their prime---which was many years!! I also consider it a true blessing that they both counted one another as true friends all of their adult lives!!
I apologize that I will be unable to attend the calling as my husband and I are in Tucson, Arizona. My prayers are with your families.
Sincerely,
Paula Withered Kopko

Sorry to hear that your mother passed away. I was friends with her and Wes through LaSertoma of Greenwood for many years. Although I haven’t seen her for many years I will never forget her. Such a soft-spoken lady.
