Jerry has gone home.
He and I are near lifelong friends beginning at Speedway Grade School.
He called me on my birthday in February and we had a nice chat.
We'll all miss him very much.

Jerry was a true friend. He always spoke highly of others, always positive. His memory of "childhood event" details will be missed at future gatherings. God Bless Debbie, the children and grandchildren. We all lost our best friend. Dave

Jerry was a friend I could always count on during our high school years. He was a natural leader, too, and seemed to take great joy in assuming responsibility for our periodic class reunions in Speedway. He'll be missed by many. My sincere sympathy to Debbie & other family members in their loss.

Thinking of Jerry brings back many happy memories of his exploits on the football field - catching long passes, making long runs, blocking the tacklers downfield. He could always run faster than many of us; and now leads us once more. I know that we all, and his family will miss him truly. For them, rest assured he will be remembered well.

Debbie and family - my thoughts are with you during this sad time in your lives. I remember Jerry best by sharing the cards he sent to Donna at the nursing home and being with you and Jerry when our visits to Donna coincided. I know how much the cards and visits meant to her. Jerry was a "beautiful person" in so many ways. May God's presence in your lives carry you through. Verna Slyder

Our condolences to Debbie and family. Although Jerry was two classes ahead our our class, he was respected and admired as one of SHS leaders. We were very happy you both graced us with your attendance at our '58 get togethers, the last one being in Avon where Jerry amuzed us with some stories, particularly the "record" speeding ticket. I know I speak for all my classmates that he shall be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers and thoughts and the good memories of this fine man are with you. God Bless You all.

My sincere sympathies to you all. I remember Jerry always smiling. He was a happy soul.
My mom and Jerry worked together way back in the day. He was so good to her. I am hoping she was there to help welcome Jerry home.
