Robert Ray Bucy passed away on December 30th in his home surrounded by love. He was born April 4, 1941 to the late Roy and Dollie Pearl Garrigus Bucy.
Robert spent his career in law enforcement as a postal inspector both in Indiana and California, retiring from the inspection service. He was a kind and gentle man of strong faith and shared his love of Jesus to everyone he could. He lived that faith every day. He loved to dance and enjoyed going to see his son's band. His beautiful smile could light up any room.
Robert lost his wife, the love of his life, Judith Marie Morford Bucy in 2006. He lost his son Brian in June 2001 and toddler son Matthew Thomas in Feb 1965. Robert leaves son Russ Bucy, daughter Angela (Vincent) Bucy-Oliveri, niece Brenda (Jim) Bennett, grandson Jake Riester, sisters, Marian (Ken) Bucy Poynter, Helen (Bill) Bucy Crady, and Virginia (Russ) Bucy Wells, brother David (Fran) Bucy and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services for Robert will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Mortuary.
