Pete James Gravos

Mr. Pete James Gravos, of Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of Friday, September 6, 2019 at Madison Health Care. He was 92. Pete was born May 7, 1927 in Gorgopotamos, Greece, a son of James and Athenecia Gravos.

Pete came with his father to the United States as a young child. He graduated from Shortridge High School and was employed as a civil engineer with the State of Indiana retiring in 2003.

Pete is survived by his spouse of 61 years, Jacqueline Gravos, daughter, Theresa (Gravos) and Kerry Hopwood; his granddaughter Stephanie Gravos as well as a great-grandson, Adrian Gravos.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by a brother and a sister.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center followed by burial at Round Hill Cemetery.
