Patricia Bornstein Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Lee “Pat” Bornstein, of Greenwood, passed away on the evening of Sunday, April 14, 2019 at her residence. She was 79. Pat was born April 3, 1940 the daughter of the late Neal Bailey and Mildred Bailey Smiley.

Pat graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and was employed as a stocker at Target for 17 years until retiring in 2006. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping and eating out and was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan. She received lots of joy from her grandchildren and always enjoyed family reunions. She also attended Southport Christian Church.

Pat is survived by her husband, Richard D. Bornstein; her children, Keith (Kathy) Bornstein, Gregory Bornstein and Theresa Harris; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and her brother, Michael (Connie) Bailey as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the mortuary. Burial will follow to Round Hill Cemetery.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested they be offered to the Salvation Army.
