Macile Eileen Forsee Fleenor, 90, of Greenwood passed away on January 27, 2019. She was born on December 17, 1928, in Bedford, Kentucky to the late Farmer and Naden Forsee. Macile was married for 60 years to the late Wesley Fleenor.
Macile was employed in human resourses/payroll for many years at AUL, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church. Macile and Wesley where both trained clowns, performing as Peaches and Leo, at hospitals and events.
Macile is survived by her children Steve Fleenor (Margee), Gretchen Bonesteel (Dave), and John Fleenor (Mary Jane); sister Juanna Brennan; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services for Macile will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial gifts be given to The Impact Center at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
