Leanne Woods Obituary
Leanne Woods, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was born May 21, 1951 to the late Ralph and Eddie Jo (Greer) Hunter in Canton, Illinois. She married Gerald “Gerry” Woods and he survives. She was employed for 22 years as a bookkeeper for Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse. Leanne enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bunco, Bingo and going to the casino.
Leanne is survived by her husband Gerry Woods; children Toby (Catherine) Woods, Denver (Holly) Woods, and Jolyn (Greg) Bowers; grandchildren Isabella Woods, Noah Woods, Nicholas Woods, Taylor Woods, Grant Woods, Claire Woods, Elizabeth Woods, Mallory Bowers, and Lauren Bowers; and brother Les (Julie) Hunter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in passing by siblings Larry Hunter, Louie Hunter, and Lynette Martinez.
Services for Leanne will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery.
