Lawrence Alan Fritz

Mr. Lawrence Alan Fritz, of Carmel, passed away on the late evening of Friday, July 19, 2019 at IU Health Methodist Hospital. He was 70. Larry was born March 13, 1949 in Noblesville, Indiana, a son of the late Grant Fritz, Jr. and Doss Evelyn (Church) Heckman.

Larry was the owner of Just Jags Auto Repair Shop in Carmel and was a well-known Jaguar, Bentley and Rolls Royce mechanic. Larry was a racing enthusiast and was also the owner of Fritz Motor Sports. He particularly enjoyed racing at Anderson Motor Speedway and could usually be found there with his friends and fellow racing fans. He also enjoyed radio controlled airplanes and race cars.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Kathy Fritz, Sharon McGuire and Tracy Burmeister; his grandchildren, Jimmy Fritz, Kayla McGuire and Nicholas McGuire; a great-grandson, Jackson Schueth; his sisters, Lynda Miller, Patricia Parkins and Tracy Nicoletti as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in passing by a son, Grant Fritz; a sister, Lori Fritz and a brother, Michael Fritz.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the convenience of the family with inurnment following in Carmel.
