Edward M. Lahmann

Edward Miles Lahmann 80, Indianapolis, passed away March 27, 2011.  He was born December 24, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Clarence Edward and Beatrice May Miles Lahmann.  He married Doris Jean Davis on March 17, 1973 at Indianapolis, and she preceded him in death March 8, 2003.  He was employed as a steel worker and retired after 40 years of service at MacSteel.  Other survivors include his son Edward Lahmann of Indianapolis; daughters Maryanne (Randy) Ellison, Karen (Tom) Irish and Elizabeth Jenkins, all of Indianapolis; step-sons James Schutte of Indianapolis and Jerry Schutte of  Los Angeles; step-daughters Lisa (Mark) Bunch of Indianapolis and Sherri (Kenneth) Roosa of Martinsville; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 31 at West Newton Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in Singleton Community Mortuary an Memorial Center.
