Mr. Brian Keith Bartley, of Beech Grove, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in Indianapolis. He was born September 15, 1965, a son of the late Irvin Wesley and Patricia Ann Bartley.
Brian attended Center Grove High School and earned his diploma while proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. He had been the owner of Bartley’s Painting and Wallpapering since 1996 and was president of Helping Heroes of America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, family vacations and most any outdoor activity. He also enjoyed painting, playing softball, swimming as well as spending time with his family. Brian was a member of Lifeway Church.
Brian is survived by his wife of nearly 23 years, Sandra Bartley; his children, Charles Deer, Amanda Deer, Brittany Bartley, Bradley Bartley and Jennifer Highwood; 10 grandchildren and his siblings, Kevin (Barbara) Mabe and Luanna Hyatt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by a brother, Timothy Mabe.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with military honors conferred by a contingent from the United States Marine Corps and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Military Honor Guard. Pastor Neil Bell will be officiating. Burial will follow to Hacker Cemetery near Bloomington.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, Monday, April 8, 2019 at the mortuary.
