Thelma Mae (Brown) Scruggs

Thelma Mae (Brown) Scruggs,83 of Greenwood passed away February 17, 2024. She was born September 30, 1940, in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late William Jay Brown and Bertha B. (Carter) Brown.  She had been employed in the food service industry with Dobbs Catering. She was a loving woman and will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her loving husband LB Scruggs, her son Michael Scruggs, her grandson Ricky Lamb and eight siblings.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Valerie Lamb (Richard), grandchildren; Lora Wade (Rick), Dustin Scruggs (Meredith), Amanda Epple (Nick), Nathan Scruggs (Nina), nine beautiful great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

Funeral Service for Thelma will be 3:30p.m. EST, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with calling from 2:00p.m. EST, until the time of service. Service will be conducted by Pastor James A. Blazek of the True Word Baptist Church. Private Interment will take place.
