She was a member of the Southport Presbyterian Church for 65 years where she sang in the choir, was the music Librarian, played in the bell choir and was in musicals and theatrical performances with other church members.

Joann retired from the banking business in 1987. Joann continued to stay busy after retirement caring for children and volunteering in connection with the Southport Presbyterian Christian School.

Joann was a talented musician, she played the violin, guitar, and the piano. Joann had a beautiful singing voice and sang with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir for 15 years and was so proud to have performed with the choir at Carnegie Hall. She was most recently performing with Sisters in Song.

Your mom watched Theresa for many summers. They played Cards on the porch, went garage sale shopping and out to eat. Theresa loved being with your mom so much I had to finally make her stop being babysat by your mom when she started high school!

Your mom was a great example of what Christians should be and I know there was much rejoicing when God took her home. We know she will be missed by your family as she was one of a kind. Theresa andAnita
