Troy E. Hartley, 50, of Whiteland, passed away on December 3, 2017. He was born on June 29, 1967 in Beech Grove to Dale Hartley and Wilma Hartley Wells. He was a 1986 graduate of Baptist High School in Indianapolis where he played basketball. Troy was employed at Napa Auto Stores working in inventory control. He enjoyed watching IU basketball and target shooting with his Son. Troy loved his family dearly as well as his dogs, Faith and Hope.

Troy is survived by his wife Jeanne Hartley; children Nikki and Dale Hartley; mother Wilma Wells (Jack); mother-in-law Martha Foote; several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his father, Dale Hartley and father-in-law Richard Foote.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, at the mortuary. Interment will follow to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested they be offered to the Hartley Children’s Scholarship Fund at any PNC Bank.

Very sorry to hear of Troy's passing. Grace and Peace to the family. I grew up and went to grade school with Troy. I have nothing but fond memories of him as I type this with tears in my eyes.
