Rudy A. Wilkins

Rudy A. Wilkins 67, Indianapolis, devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away April 26 at home.  He was the only child of Bernard R. and Alice J. Mason Wilkins, born October 30, 1946 in Sullivan, Indiana.  He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Patty Church Wilkins. Other survivors include daughter Rhonda (Earl) Leitherer, grandson Ryan Light, step-grandchildren William, Sarah, Kurt and Andrea Leitherer, step great granddaughter Isabella and dog Max. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Darin J. Light and his beloved German shepherds Queenie and Misty.

He was employed at Wheaton Van Lines for 25 years retiring in 1990.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at Mt. Zion Campground Cemetery, New Lebanon, IN with visitation Wednesday, April 30, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
